No Schumi/Kimi Partnership for Ferrari in 2007
It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to work out that Michael Schumacher and Kimi Raikkonen won’t be at Ferrari in 2007 – at least, not together. Schumacher’s latest support of current teammate Felipe Massa in the media suggests the 7 time World Champion will continue to race in 2007 and that he’d like Massa to continue as his teammate.
It’s quite a shame really because a Raikkonen/Schumacher line-up could give Michael the opportunity to disprove something that his critics have held against him all his career – that he gets preferential treatment over his teammates.
His teammates have never come from another top team and certainly none have been considered at the top of their career when paired with him. If Michael could beat Kimi in the same car, the argument that Kimi was given sub-standard equipment/support would be very hard to believe..
